Mr. and Mrs. Wilma Green

Wilma Ellen and Robert Earl Green are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 19, 2008, at Rodgers Pavilion in Highland Park, 902 W. Deffenbaugh St., hosted by their children. Family and friends are invited to attend, but the couple requests no gifts. Your love is a treasured gift, and they request no other.
Robert and the former Wilma McAninch, were married Jan. 18, 1958, at St. Luke’s Evangelical United Brethren Church by the late Rev. Garth Shepherd.
Robert is retired from Kokomo Springs Corp., and Wilma is retired from Delco Electronics.
The couple has three children, Robert W. Green, Sharpsville; Ellen and husband Gregory Hampton, Shoals; and James and wife Tressa Green, Peru. The couple’s grandchildren are Ce’Nedra, Alaric and Garrett Green, Peru, and Daniel and Michelle Franklin, Jon and Melissa Hampton, and Michael Hampton, all of Shoals. Their great-grandchildren are DeeLynn and Anudrea Franklin, and Marissa, Angelica, Abalena and Collin Hampton, all of Shoals.
