Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sumpter

Robert and Susann Sumpter are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Robert and the former Susann Simpson were married Feb. 2, 1958, at Jerome Christian Church, Greentown, by Pastor Ray M. Lawrence.

Robert retired from Lewis Bros. Bakeries in 1997 and works for First Farmers Bank as a courier. Susann worked 14 years for Hemmeger Printing and is a homemaker.

The couple has three sons, Greg and wife Melody, Greentown; Gary and wife Tina, Philadelphia, Miss.; and Mike and wife Rhonda, Panama City, Fla. The have six grandsons and two granddogs.
