Mr. and John Mrs. Davis

John and Linda Davis, Windfall, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Feb. 16, 2008, at the Windfall Community Building. Family and friends are welcome, but the couple requests no gifts.

John and the former Linda Fisher were married Feb. 15, 1958, in Brethren Church, Windfall. The groom’s father, Thomas Davis, officiated.

He retired from Northern Community Schools in 2000, and she retired from Northern Community Schools in 2001.

The couple has three children, Boyd and wife Becky Davis, Argos; Jerry and wife Terri Davis, Russiaville; and Jeff and wife Vanessa Davis, Windfall. The couple also has six grandchildren.
