Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Kirby

Joyce E. and Boyd E. Kirby Sr. are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip at a later date.

Boyd and the former Joyce Hall were married March 24, 1958, in the Rev. Carr’s home in Kokomo, by the Rev. Carr.

He is retired from the Delphi Corporation, and she is retired from Delco Electronics.

The couple has seven children, Boyd E. Kirby Jr., Kokomo; Leslie D. Merriwether, Kokomo; Brett A. Kirby, Lafayette; Damita R. and Rick Wash, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Venita J. and Charles Green, Severn, Md.; Derek L. Kirby and Jansen N. Kirby, who are deceased. The couple also has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
