Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Vawter

Jerry L. and Sue A. Vawter, Windfall, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. April 6, 2008, at the Taylor Township Community Room, 3795 E. 300 S., Kokomo. All family and friends are invited to fellowship with them. The couple is also planning a trip to the Maine coastline for sightseeing and lobster in August 2008.

Jerry and the former Sue Bolinger were married April 11, 1958, at Kinder Baptist, Frankfort, by the Rev. Olin Smith.

He is retired from Haynes International, Kokomo, and she is retired from Dr. D. Harris, Kokomo.

The couple has three children, Lisa Sparling, Kokomo, Scott and wife Debbie Vawter, Amboy, and Cynthia and husband Russell Heron, Tipton. The couple also has eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
