Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jefferson

Gerald and Charlotte Jefferson, Kokomo, are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary with a seven-day cruise later this year.

Gerald and the former Charlotte Hizer were married July 1, 1978, in Peru, at Mount Herman Baptist Church, by the bride’s uncle, the Rev. Lee John Jackson.

He served for four years in the U.S. Air Force and is retired from Delphi. She is also retired from Delphi.

The couple has six children, Michael Glover, Kokomo; Tracie Beame, Riverside, Calif.; Trent Jefferson, Houston, Texas; Tyrone Jefferson, Kokomo; Tyree Jefferson, Kokomo, and the late Clarence Glover Jr. They also have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
