Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lancaster

Robert and Dixie Lancaster celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 20, 2007, with family a dinner and celebration.

Robert (Blackie) and the former Dixie Milligan were married by the Rev. Oro C. Bogue in Kokomo.

He is retired from Kokomo Sanitary Pottery where he was employed for 47 years. She is a volunteer at Maconaquah Elementary School where she enjoys working with the first grade.

The couple has four children, Dana and husband Tim Kling, Raliegh, N.C.; Marisa and husband Steve Hewitt, Camden; Robert Allen and wife Denise Lancaster, Miami; and Shonda and husband Randy Machado, Kokomo. They also have 10 grandchildren, Jim and wife Christy Kling, Tishelle and husband Kirk Harris, Elliott and wife Vanessa Kling, Josh and wife Jessica Hewitt, Tiffany and husband Dave Salvagnini, Tara and husband Brant Ashmore, Andrew Lancaster, Shaina Lancaster, Debra Machado, and Tommie Jo Machado; and seven great-grandchildren, J.T. Kling, Chris Kling, Katie Kling, Cameron Harris, McKenna Kling, Faith Hewitt and Kendall Hewitt.
