Mr. and Mrs. Marion Willis



Marion and Sue Willis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 22, 2007.

Marion and the former Sharon “Sue” Brown were married Dec. 22, 1957, at the home of his parents, Charles and Stella Willis, by the Rev. Everett Nixon in Kokomo.

Marion served in the U.S. Army for three years as a spy in the Poconos and then served in the National Guard for six years at Camp Atterbury in Indiana. He is also retired from Cabot Corp., where he was employed for 26 years. Sue is a working homemaker.

The couple has three children, Juanita Willis, Galveston; David and wife Kim Willis, Galveston; and Sheila and husband Nathan Rogers, Kokomo. They also have four grandchildren, Rachel and husband Derek Rucker, Ken and wife Holly Willis, Dustin Black, and Heather Willis; and one great-grandson, Brycen David Rucker. They are expecting their great-granddaughter, Victoria Nicole, in March.
