Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mix

Harold “Sonny” and Velda Mix, Galveston, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Harold and the former Velda Sitzes were married Dec. 31, 1957, at Four Square Gospel Church, Kokomo.
Harold served two years in the U.S. Army and is retired, with 20 years of service, from General Motors. Velda is retired with 30 years of service from General Motors and has been the owner and operator of Mix’s Auto Sales for 23 years.
The couple has three children, Randy Mix, Galveston, Kathy and husband Robert Phipps, Galveston, and the late Harold “Harry” Mix, Jr. The couple also has one special grandson, Ryan Mix, Galveston, and one stepgranddaughter, Ashley Phipps, Noblesville.
