Matt and Beth Seawell, Greentown, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with their children at a dinner at Kopper Kettle in Morristown.
Matt and the former Beth Ann Long were married Aug. 18, 1973, in Greentown Wesleyan Church by Waldo Seawell and Harold Bardsley. They met as students at Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University).
Beth is a second-grade teacher at Taylor Primary School, and Matt is employed by Frontier Communications.
Their children are Cami and husband Mark Thomas, Schaumburg, Ill., Cheryl and husband Darren Miracle, Russiaville, and Cara and husband Aaron Tarrh, Kokomo. Their grandchildren are Lexi and Cody Tarrh and Levi and Myles Thomas. Another grandchild is due in September.
