Lyle Eugene “Gene” and Marjorie May Fitch, Kokomo, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at 5 p.m. June 6 at Golden Corral In Kokomo, hosted by Joe and Debra Claunch and Melonie Cawvey.
Gene and the former Marjorie Turner were married June 6, 1953, in the home of the bride’s parents in Kokomo by the Rev. Cecil J. Enochs. Edgar Lee Fitch and Nadine Fitch Mittower stood in attendance with them.
Marjorie is a full-time wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Gene is retired from Continental Steel, Kokomo,
Their children are Gary and wife Donna Fitch, Kokomo, and Debra and husband Joe Claunch, Tucson, Ariz. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
