Richard L. and Dora Dianne “Dee” Snow, Kokomo, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a special dinner with family at Back 40 Junction, Decatur. They are planning a trip to celebrate their 50 years together.
Richard and the former Dora Dianne Brenneman were married Nov. 2, 1963, in First Church of God, Marion, by the Rev. Daniel Schemmer. They met while students at Martin Boots Junior High School, Marion. He surprised her with a diamond engagement ring while on a date.
Richard is retired from Chrysler Corp. and Snow’s Beef Jerky, Kokomo, which he founded in 1991. Dee worked as an instructor at Clark’s Beauty College and was co-owner of Snow’s Beef Jerky.
Their children are Richard L. and wife Suzie Snow II, Kokomo, and Tracy D. Frazer, Kokomo. They have three grandchildren, Mark S. Frazer III, Charlotte, N.C., Kimberly D. Snow, Charlotte, N.C., and Richard L. Snow III, Kokomo.
