WORLD'S FAIR: This photo shows the space-age towers, topped by flying-saucer-like platforms, and a ring of pillars that that once housed the New York State Pavilion at the 1964 World's Fair in the Queens borough of New York. These, and a number of other landmarks, inculding the well known Unisphere, can be visited by those looking to soak up a little nostalgia on the fair's 50th anniversary, in the Cornoa neighborhood of Queens.
