---- — ‘Fifty Shades’ fiasco discussed at meeting
LOS ANGELES (AP) — NBC-Universal employees have been told the recasting of Christian Grey in the company’s film version of the erotic best-seller “Fifty Shades of Grey” will be finalized in the next few weeks.
A company-wide “town hall” on Wednesday covered a variety of subjects but “Fifty Shades” was the inevitable hot topic in the wake of last weekend’s announcement that Charlie Hunnam was dropping out as Christian Grey, according to an NBC-Universal employee who attended the meeting.
The source, who requested anonymity because the meeting was private, also said NBCU officials confirmed “Fifty Shades” will still be released next year and that co-star Dakota Johnson remains committed to her role as Anastasia Steele.
The meeting was held primarily to introduce Jeff Shell, who is taking over as Universal Pictures co-chairman.

The comic and Emmy-winning actor from “Everybody Loves Raymond” has a deal with Gallery Books for the memoir “When the Balls Drop: How I Learned to Give Up, Stop Trying, and Enjoy Life’s Second Half.” Gallery, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, announced Thursday that the book is scheduled for 2015.
Garrett, 53, also plans to base a TV show on his memoir, according to Gallery. His many film and TV credits include “Finding Nemo,” ‘‘Seinfeld” and “Night at the Museum.”
Kendra, Baskett expecting child
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett are expecting their second child, a source confirms to Us Weekly. “She and Hank have been planning a second baby for a while,” the insider tells the mag. “They are very excited.”
Wilkinson and Baskett have been married since June 2009 and their son Hank Baskett IV will turn four in December. The mag reports that Kendra is about 8 weeks along.
This doesn’t come as a total shock though. Back in August Kendra told the mag she was ready to expand their family. “We are trying, we are going to start now,” she said. “This is my first official announcement! We are very excited about making the decision to try!”
