Christ Lutheran Church

The National Preach-In on Climate Change will be observed at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 3401 S. Dixon Road. The film “Chasing Ice,” produced by a National Geographic photographer, will be shown. The film presents time-lapse sequences of rapidly melting glaciers around the world. There is no charge.

Crossroads Community Church

A Super Single Saturday is planned for 4 to 8 p.m. March 1 at the church, 4254 S. 00 East-West. A DVD, “Single and Satisfied” featuring Dr. Tony Evans, will be shown.

First Church of the Nazarene

The church will offer a six-week program focusing on grief recovery at 2734 S. Washington St. “God and Grief” is designed to guide individuals through the grief process. The program will be from 6 to 7:15 p.m. March 4 through April 8.

Main Street United Methodist Church

The church, 830 S. Main St., is hosting clogging lessons by the Wildcat Valley Cloggers Tuesdays in the church basement. Beginning classes are 6:30 p.m. and intermediate and advanced classes are 7:20 p.m. The teacher is Christopher Smith, who has been an instructor for more than 35 years.

Morning Star Church

The church will begin a new sermon series, “Making the Most of Your Marriage,” during the 9:30 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services at 2900 E. Markland Ave.

Mark Driscoll’s “Real Marriage” simulcast will be 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb 22, with a lunch break at 12:30 p.m. The event is free with online preregistration at msckokomo.com. Day of the event the cost is $15 per person. Lunch is available for $5.
