New Beginnings Christian Fellowship

Pastor Jeff Russell will present a sermon, “Remember to Grow and Restore Your Passion for Jesus,” at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church, 1900 S. Berkley Road. The message is part of the series “The Call to Remember.”

Parr United Methodist Church

The church’s youth group is hosting a Fazoli’s spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. today at 1135 N. Wabash Ave. Funds will support the youths attending church camp. Tickets are $8 and carry-outs are welcome.

St. Joan of Arc and St. Patrick Catholic Churches

The churches will host the eighth annual Indiana Holy Family Catholic Conference March 1 and 2 at Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road. The theme is “Faith, Hope and Love — Use It or Lose It!” Sponsors are St. Joseph Hospital and Knights of Columbus.

Registration fees are: family, $145; married couple, $115; single adult, $65; and high school youth, $45.

The conference offers an opportunity for all ages to “focus, renew, and dive deeply into the life transforming faith of the Catholic Church.” Among the scheduled participants are Tim Staples, Ken Yasinski, Sr. Jane Dominic Laurel, O.P. and Bishop Timothy Doherty.

Salvation Army

The Declaration Trio will perform a concert at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at the church, 1101 S. Waugh St. The group was nominated by the readers of Singing News Magazine as one of the top 10 new trios in 2013 and received a second nomination in a row for the Sunrise Award (best new group) at the annual Diamond Awards.

A freewill offering will be taken.

Sara Aten, a Christian singer and songwriter, will present her unique sound during a performance at 7 p.m. March 8. A freewill offering will be taken.

There will be a preconcert dinner at the Salvation Army Community Center, 1007 E. Foster St. The cost at the door is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger.
