Calvary Baptist Church

The church, 1967 W. Boulevard, will ring in the New Year with a variety show at 4 p.m. Sunday. Mary Larison and Marci Stahl, Irma Sanders, Pamela England, Jack and Marian Parker and Phil Drake at the piano will be on the program. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be taken.

Christ Lutheran Church

Trumpeters Mark Murray and Michele Robeson Howard will perform the fifth program in the Fine Arts Series Music at Christ at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 3401 S. Dixon Road. There is no charge for the concert, which will last 20 to 30 minutes. A light lunch will follow (donation suggested).

Barbara Hobbs will present a piano program Feb. 5.

Christ the King Anglican Church

The congregation will be worshiping for the first time in its new location at Indiana University-Kokomo Observatory Lecture Hall at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. It will be an observance of Epiphany Sunday, when the Light of Christ coming into the world is celebrated.

The church’s former rental facility was destroyed in the tornado Nov. 17. In addition to many churches and friends from around the diocese, the church wishes to thank St. Joseph Hospital, Grace United Methodist Church, Kokomo Christian Fellowship, Solid Rock Church, and others for their love, support, and encouragement.

Fountain of Life Word and Worship Center

The church, 611 E. Jackson St., will present its 42nd annual Dr. M.L. King Jr. Memorial Gospel Music Celebration at 4 p.m. Jan. 19. To become part of the program, call 765-236-0499 or send an email to bishopceglenn@aol.com.

Morning Star Church

The church invites the public to “Don’t Forget to Remember,” a look back on God’s goodness in 2013, during the 9 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services Sunday at 2900 E. Markland Ave.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship

The church will kick off the new year with a new sermon series, “The Call to Remember.” Pastor Jeff Russell will speak on “Remember Whose and Who You Are and Revive Your Relationship with God” at 10 a.m. Sunday at 1900 South Berkley Road.

Soul Anchor Apostolic Church

Having trouble signing up for health care reform? Applications for the Affordable Care Act will be available 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 3 to 4 p.m. the first Sunday of each month at the church, 616 N. Union St. All are welcome. Cowboy Church will be observed at 6 p.m. today at 1810 E. Bradford, Marion. The service and attire will be casual.
