The schedule is:

Jan. 14: “The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates” by Wes Moore. Two kids with the same name live in the same decaying city. One goes on to be a Rhodes Scholar, decorated combat veteran, White House Fellow, and business leader. The other serves a life sentence in prison. This is the story their journeys.

Feb. 11: “Ready Player One: A Novel” by Ernest Cline. In 2044, reality is an ugly place. The only time teenage Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s in the virtual utopia called OASIS. Wade devotes his life to studying the puzzles hidden within this world’s digital confines. When he finds the first clue, he finds himself beset by players willing to kill to take this ultimate prize.

March 11: “The Snow Child: A Novel” by Eowyn Ivey. Alaska in 1920 is a brutal place to homestead for Jack and Mabel. Childless, they begin drifting apart. In a moment of levity, they build a child out of snow. The next morning the snow child is gone, but they notice a young, blonde-haired girl, Faina, running through the trees. In this beautiful yet violent place, things are rarely as they appear, and what they eventually learn about Faina will transform all of them.

April 8: “Bar None” by Tim Lebbon. Six months have passed since the end of the world, leaving a handful of survivors holed up in a Welsh manor with little to do but survive. When supplies start running thin and a stranger arrives, everything begins to change.
