Art competition open to high schoolers
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Todd Rokita (R-Ind.) has invited high school students in Indiana’s Fourth District to enter the annual Congressional Art Competition.
The winner of the district competition will have his or her work displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Artwork may include paintings, drawings, collage, prints, mixed media, computer-generated art and photography.
Submissions must be original work, two-dimensional and no larger than 28 inches high, 28 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 15 pounds in weight when framed.
Submissions must be received at Rokita’s Danville office, located at 355 S. Washington St., Danville, by April 30.

Open house Monday
Imagine That! Innovation Center will have its free spring open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at 2751 S. Albright Road.
There will be open play in all of the themed rooms, refreshments and crafts for children.
