• Alzheimer’s and caregivers support group: 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 17, Community Classroom, 3500 S. Lafountain St., call 765-864-8738 or 800-272-3900.

• Benign brain tumor support group: 5 p.m. April 16, Community Howard Regional Health Downtown Campus, 322 N. Main St., call 765-455-2613.

• Brain injury support group: 7p.m. April 21, Community Howard Specialty Hospital, 829 N. Dixon Road, call 765-459-0561, ext. 503.

• Breastfeeding support group: 10 a.m. every Friday, Community Classroom, 3500 S. Lafountain St., call 765-865-6360.

• Cancer support group: 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 21, Community Oncology, 3500 S. Lafountain St., call 765-453-8079

• Depression Bi-Polar Support Alliance of Central Indiana: 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and April16, Community Behavioral Health Services, 325 N. Main St., call 765-453-8529.

• Diabetes Support Group: 6 to 7 p.m. April 30, Community Classroom, 3500 S. Lafountain St., call 765-453-8612.

• Multiple sclerosis support group: 7 p.m. April 10, Community Howard Specialty Hospital, 829 N. Dixon Road, call 765-453-8572.

• Parkinson support group: 3 p.m. April 22, Community Howard Specialty Hospital, 829 N. Dixon Road, call 765-453-4051.

• Safe Sitter class: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Education Classroom, 3500 S. Lafountain St. Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program that teaches young adolescents how to handle emergencies when caring for children. The class is geared towards girls/boys ages 11 through 13. Class fee is $50 and includes Safe Sitter manual, completion card, and backpack. Lunch is provided. • Know your numbers screenings: 10 a.m. to noon April 25, Basement Classroom, 3500 S. Lafountain St. Knowing your heart health numbers will help you and your doctor determine your risks for heart disease. The screening includes total lipid profile, glucose, blood pressure, and lifestyle counseling. For best total profile results, the hospital recommends fasting for 10 hours with nothing but water. Please be sure to take all necessary medication and drink 8 to 16 ounces of water prior to the screening. Your screening results will be ready in about 15 minutes.
