The Purdue Extension – Howard County is seeking a summer intern who will work with the 4-H Youth Development Program, according to a news release. Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma, be a self-starter and have an interest in teaching and sharing knowledge and skills with youth and adult volunteers. A 4-H background is preferred but not required.
The intern will assist with preparations for the Howard County 4-H Fair, conduct workshops, develop presentations and complete other tasks as assigned. The position begins in May 2014 and continues through August or as long as funding remains available.
