Easter services celebrating Christ’s resurrection will be at 9:25 and 11:11 a.m. April 20. An Easter breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m.

Judson Baptist Church

A pork loin dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at 1995 N. County Road 750 West. The cost is $8 for adults and $4.50 for children 10 and under. Dessert will be included with all meals.

Main Street Christian Church

The annual Ladies Spiritual Spa is planned for April 25 at the church, 220 W. Main St., Russiaville. A salad buffet is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the program is 6:45 p.m.

The program will be presented by Daron and Julie Earlewine, founders of Pub Theology. A silent auction prior to the program will benefit New Leaf Mentoring, which ministers to children of imprisoned parents.

Morning Star Church

Women are invited to attend a new program, Renew, from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. Fridays at the church, 2900 E. Markland Ave. Each session includes an uplifting message.

The sermon series, “Fully Following,” will be continued at the 9 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary worship services Sunday.

Mount Zion Temple

The congregation will observe its second anniversary with a service at 4:30 p.m. April 12 at 4019 S. Webster St. The guest speaker will be Apostle Roosevelt Solomon Jr., founder and overseer of Solomon Ministries. The theme of the service is “If the Lord Delight in Us,” taken from Numbers 14:8.

Solomon received his certificate of license and ordination at Second Baptist Church, his B.S. degree in elementary education from Loyola University and doctor of divinity from Christian Bible College in 1981.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship

Pastor Jeff Russell will continue his emphasis on “The Power of Prayer” at 10 a.m. Sunday at 1900 S. Berkley Road. The message comes from John 15 on making prayer a priority.
