Brookside Free Methodist Church

“F.R.O.G., Fully Rely on God” will be the theme of vacation Bible school, 6 to 8 p.m. July 14 through 18 at the church, 190 E. 100 South. There will be music, activities, crafts and snacks.

Center Road Church of Christ

A clothing giveaway is planned for 9 to 11 a.m. July 12 at the church, 899 W. 300 South. There will be clothing for all ages, housewares, knickknack and free school supplies.

In His Image

The church will serve a country breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. today at 2940 E. 50 North. The menu includes sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, pancakes, orange juice and coffee.

A freewill offering will be taken, and carry-outs are available.

Main Street Christian Church

“Weird Animals” Vacation Bible School will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 21 through 25 at the church, 220 W. Main St., Russiaville.

Morning Star Church

The sermon series, “Power for Living,” is underway during the 9 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services Sunday at the church, 2900 E. Markland Ave.

Morning Star will sponsor a food tent during the Howard County 4-H Fair, which begins Monday. All proceeds will go to local and global missions.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship

“No Man Cared for My Soul,” taken from Psalm 142, will be the sermon presented by Pastor Jeff Russell during the 10 a.m. service Sunday at the church, 1900 S. Berkley Road.
