May Area Five menus announced

Here are the meals that will be served at Area Five Agency on Aging sites in Cass, Fulton, Howard, Miami, Tipton and Wabash counties in May:

May 1: white chicken chili, sweet potatoes, pickled beets, tropical mousse, cornbread and milk.

May 2: beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, carrots, spiced apples, roll and milk.

May 5: cheeseburger, baked beans, Brussels sprouts, fresh fruit, bun and milk.

May 6: smoked sausage with peppers, red skin potatoes, carrots, pineapple, bun and milk.

May 7: meat loaf, baby bakers, green beans, pears, roll and milk.

May 8: baked ham, macaroni and cheese, peas, Mandarin oranges, wheat bread and milk.

May 9: chicken salad sandwich, potato salad, pickled beets, peach cobbler, bun and milk.

May 12: chicken patty, red potatoes, mixed vegetables, blueberry cake, bun and milk.

May 13: meat ball sandwich, hash brown casserole, asparagus, applesauce, bun and milk.

May 14: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, hominy, peaches, wheat bread and milk.

May 15: chicken Alfredo, carrots, zucchini/tomatoes, cookie, oatmeal bread and milk.

May 16: barbecued pork, mixed vegetables, cauliflower, pineapple, bun and milk.

May 19: barbecued chicken, succotash, broccoli, cake, wheat bread and milk.

May 20: chopped steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetable blend, peaches, oatmeal bread and milk.

May 21: ham and beans, carrots, spinach, pears, cornbread and milk.

May 22: sloppy joes, cheesy potatoes, peas, tropical fruit salad, bun and milk.

May 23: vegetable lasagna, Italian green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, Italian bread and milk.

May 26: sites closed for Memorial Day.

May 27: chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, stewed tomatoes, cherry ambrosia, roll and milk.

May 28: oven fried chicken, sweet mashed potatoes, green beans, pears, wheat bread and milk.

May 29: stuffed baked potato, taco meat and cheese, broccoli, fresh fruit, muffin and milk.

May 30: Italian roast beef sandwich, Brussels sprouts, scalloped potatoes, peach cobbler, bun and milk.
