The Garden Wall Garden Club of Kokomo will present a DVD program, “Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens” at 6:30 p.m. May 1 at the Center Township Trustee’s Office, 213 E. Jefferson St. It features scenes of 90 bronze sculptures amid a 232-acre plantation garden with over 60,000 trees on the island of Kaua’i.
The club was founded in 1995. Community projects include the awarding of an annual scholarship to a Purdue University Horticulture student and the annual beautification of the Garden Alley Walkway (located across the street from the east side of the courthouse, between Walnut and Sycamore Streets) during the Kokomo Planting Day in May.
The garden club meets on the first Thursday of each month from April through December, providing programs to all garden enthusiasts, whether beginner or advanced. The meetings will be held in various locations. Membership dues are $15 per person. Anyone interested is participating in club activities may call 765-432-1535 or email email@example.com for more information. The club also has gardening tips and schedule information on Facebook at Garden Wall Garden Club, Kokomo, IN.
