GREENTOWN — Greentown Public Library is celebrating Howard County’s continued history with glass making by organizing a private tour of Kokomo Opalescent Glass May 16.
The “Day of Glass” tour will begin at 9:15 a.m. at the glass factory, 1310 S. Market St., followed by lunch at Cook McDoogal’s Restaurant and ending with a private tour of the Greentown Glass Museum with docent Dave Turner. The cost for entrance to Kokomo Opalescent Glass is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Lunch is at the attendees’ expense and transportation is the responsibility of the attendee.
