PCAT will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a Community Safety Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 17 at 216 Corwin Lane.
Included will be carnival games, bounce houses and prizes. There will be an extrication demonstration and an opportunity to view the Samaritan helicopter. Children will receive instruction in the basics of fire/EMS safety. Register for the corn hole tournament at www.pcat-ems.com.
Those who donate four cans of food will receive a free game ticket.
A pulled pork dinner, priced at $5, will be served, and a bake sale is planned. Proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association and local organizations.
Participating in the safety day will be the Galveston Police Department, Harrison Volunteer Fire Department, Howard County Sheriff Department, Howard County EMA, Kokomo Police Department, Russiaville Ambulance and Taylor Township Fire Department.
