Band raising funds with car show

BUNKER HILL — Maconaquah High School Marching Braves will host their fourth annual car and bike show from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 1 at 256 E. 800 South. Admission is free.

Car registration is $10 and may be made between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The first 75 cars will receive dash plaques. Awards include: top 20-judged, band director’s pick, best foreign, best Harley, best motorbike, best original truck, best modified truck, best late-model car (original), best early model car (original) and best student car or truck.

Booth space will be available for $10. Rental money goes to the band, but money from sales will go to the vendors. Vendors must provide their own tables.

The event also will include DJ music and a concession stand with car hops.
