Church news

Brookside Free Methodist Church

The church, 190 E. 400 South (¼ mile east of U.S. 31 on Ind. 26), will present the Muncie Foursquare Worship Team at 6 p.m. today. Revival services will follow the concert.

The team includes Allie Craycraft, Austin Kreps, Jensen Matchett, Mike Kreps, Chris Matchett, Steve Craycraft and Lucas Blair.

Calvary Baptist Church

“A Memorable Christmas Experience” will be presented by the Gospel Trio Livin Forgivin at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1967 W. Boulevard. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be taken.

Christ Lutheran Church

The Fine Arts Series Music at Christ is presenting a series of eight lunchtime concerts 3401 S. Dixon Road. The fourth concert features Pianist Marc Loudon at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday. There is no charge for the concert, which is approximately 20 to 30 minutes in length. A light lunch will follow (donation suggested).

The next concert in the series will feature Michele Robeson Howard in a trumpet program Jan. 8, 2014.

Faith United Methodist Church

The church, 1518 N. Faith Road, will serve a chicken and noodle dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7. A freewill offering will be taken, with proceeds going to United Methodist Women of Faith.

Also on the menu are mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, coleslaw, dessert, coffee, tea and punch. Homemade candy and baked goods will be for sale.

First Baptist Church

The church will sponsor a free clothing drive from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at 310 W. Taylor St.

Kokomo Church of the Brethren

A free pancake breakfast and photos with Santa are planned from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at the church, 311 W. Lincoln Road.
