PUBLIC MEETINGS

Every Sunday the Kokomo Tribune compiles a list of meetings open to the public. The Open Door Law of Indiana states that “the General Assembly finds and declares that this state and its political subdivisions exist only to aid in the conduct of the business of the people of this state. It is the intent of this chapter that the official action of public agencies be conducted and taken openly, unless otherwise expressly provided by statute, in order that the people may be fully informed.” Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-1.

Monday

9 a.m. Tipton County Commissioners will meet at the Tipton County Courthouse.

5:30 p.m. Tipton Common Council will meet in the John Tipton Room of the Tipton County Courthouse.

6:30 p.m. Kokomo Common Council will hold a public caucus in the first floor conference room, City Hall, 100 S. Union St.

7 p.m. Kokomo Common Council will meet in council chambers, City Hall, 100 S. Union St.

Tuesday

4 p.m. Howard County Council will meet in room 338 of the Howard County Administration Center, 220 N. Main St.

Wednesday

10 a.m. Kokomo Board of Public Works & Safety will meet in council chambers, City Hall.
