'Let it Be' to celebrate Beatles

‘Let it Be’ to celebrate Beatles

GREENTOWN — The Greentown Public Library and its “Let it Be” title sponsor, First Farmers Bank and Trust, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ first American appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” with a concert featuring a tribute band, The Beatles Remix, and local “Ed Sullivan” Ron Wyatt.

The performance takes place at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Eastern Howard Performing Arts Center, 421 S. Harrison St. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. General seating tickets are $15 and are available at both Greentown libraries, First Farmers Bank (Greentown), Rex Byers Heating and Cooling, 700 Brandon St., Kokomo, and Jeff’s Barber shop, 1729 S. Lafountain St., Kokomo. Ticket price includes hot dog, chips and drink, costume contest, karaoke entertainment, and period picture opportunities. Other sponsors to date include Harper Implement, Coca-Cola Bottling, and GFS.
