Interfaith group announces speakers

The Kokomo Area Affiliate of Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light will host two speakers during a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, 3401 S. Dixon Road.

Dennis Lane, from Huston Electric, will provide the group with information about obtaining rebates for updating lighting in churches and non-profit settings from the Energizing Indiana program.

Randy Morris, head of Kokomo Parks and Recreation, is in charge of the future Kokomo Curbside Recycling project. He will be discussing the details involved with implementing the recycling program.

The meeting is open to all churches and places of worship in the area. Interested individuals are also welcome to attend.
