Trooper among 3 hurt in Indiana Toll Road crash

LAPORTE (AP) — State police say a trooper and two other people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on the Indiana Toll Road.

The crash happened late Sunday near the northern Indiana city of LaPorte about 20 miles west of South Bend.

State police tell WSBT-TV and WNDU-TV that the trooper and two people who were in another vehicle were taken to hospitals after the crash but that the injuries didn't appear serious. Police didn't immediately release details about circumstances of the crash although both vehicles were totaled.
