Fort Wayne — A portion of a Fort Wayne mall is closed after a section of roof collapsed.
Glenbrook Square officials say it had sustained a roof collapse that affected a small section outside its Sears store and that some stores in that corridor may be closed for part of Tuesday. It said the rest of the mall on the city's north side would be open.
The Journal Gazette reports a corridor leading to the Sears store was closed Tuesday morning and construction signs were up.
WANE-TV reports that Fort Wayne emergency dispatchers said mall security reported the collapse about 2 a.m. Tuesday.
