The National Weather Service is predicting snow today will turn to a wintry mix tonight in the Howard and Tipton counties areas. A few hours of accumulating snow and light freezing rain are possible in Central Indiana.
Accumulations will vary from little to nothing to up to 2 inches. Ice accumulations of a 1/10 inch are possible. All of Indiana should see rain by mid-morning Saturday. The NWS says Saturdays’ rain could turn into a wintry mix Saturday evening.
Another winter storm is expected to move into the region Tuesday into Wednesday. Forecasts predict the system could bring significant accumulations of snow.
