Loose cattle close I-65 in Clinton County

Frankfort — Police say traffic was blocked for hours overnight on a section of Interstate 65 in central Indiana after a crash between two semitrailers left cattle loose along the highway.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Department tells WTHR-TV that the crash happened in I-65's northbound lanes about midnight near the Clinton-Boone County line about 30 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

No injuries were reported among any motorists. One of the trailers was carrying cattle.

Other details on the crash weren't immediately available. The highway's lanes reopened after being closed for about four hours.
