Buddy's Mart robber sought

Kokomo police are looking for a man armed with a knife who robbed a Buddy’s Mart on North Philips Street Thursday evening.

Officers were called at 7:58 p.m. to the store located at 312 N. Philips St.

Maj. Brian Seldon said the man walked into the store displayed a knife and demanded cash.

The man was described as a clean-shaven white male in his mid-20’s to early 30’s wearing a brown jacket, a brown sock hat and blue jeans.

No one was injured and police believe the man fled east on Taylor Street in a dark-colored SUV.
