Evansville sheriff seeks 2 in train horn thefts

EVANSVILLE (AP) — Southwestern Indiana authorities are seeking two men who stole two train horns.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office in Evansville says surveillance video shows two males in their teens or 20s climbing into a stationary Evansville Western Railway train and stepping out minutes later with horns in hand.

The Evansville Courier & Press reports the thefts occurred during the early morning hours of Oct. 14.

The horns are valued at about $750.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office advises anyone who has information related to the theft to call 812-421-6201.
