Shelley R. (Hobson) Johnson, CPA and owner of Allman Johnson Company CPAs, has been elected president of the Indiana Board of Accountancy for the 2011-2012 terms. She was appointed to the board by Gov. Mitch Daniels in 2007 and is currently serving the second year of her second term.

Johnson is a 1985 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in agriculture economics, and also holds a 1989 post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Indiana University Northwest.

She has also served on the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy Enforcement Best Practices Committee and the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership Board of Directors.

Johnson and her husband have been married for more than 25 years and have three children. She is the daughter of Nancy Hobson of Russiaville and a graduate of Western High School.

Vince Foley has joined the agency as the director of human resources as well as the compliance officer for Bona Vista Programs Inc. He came to Bona Vista after serving as the director of human resource at the Academy in Kokomo.

In addition to his HR experience, Foley is certified as a master level instructor for non-violent crisis intervention, certified In American Red Cross CPR and first aid as well as blood borne pathogens, certified in life space crisis intervention and a certified instructor in applied physical training.

Accreditation

Ladd Dental Group recently achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

The accreditation distinguishes Ladd Dental Group from other dental offices by providing a safe work environment and a high quality of care to its patients.

According to the AAHC, an independent nonprofit organization, Ladd Dental Group is the first privately owned dental practice in Indiana and one of five in the nation to be accredited by the AAAHC.
