MedExpress to offer tobacco cessation
MedExpress Urgent Care, 1010 S. Reed Road in Kokomo, is offering tobacco cessation, including counseling, quitting resources, support and medical advice from health care professionals. MedExpress’s Tobacco Cessation Program is available, for the most part, with no out-of-pocket charges for those with some form of health insurance.
MedExpress is open daily with a physician-led, full medical team on site 12 hours a day. No appointment is necessary.
Moving company opens branch
Two Men And A Truck began operating at 2323 N. Elizabeth St. on June 1. The local affiliate of the national moving company is owned by husband and wife Heather and Matt Schiffeneder and Heather’s brother Jake Deitrich, all of Fort Wayne. The owners also have operations in Fort Wayne and Muncie.
Deitrich, who is the general manager, choose Kokomo as a location when given an opportunity to expand the company’s territory.

Security Federal appoints loan officer
LOGANSPORT — Bret Henderson has joined Security Federal Savings Bank as the retail loan operations officer. Henderson has 11 years of banking industry experience, holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Indiana University Kokomo.
Henderson and his wife, Heather, recently relocated to Kokomo from Indianapolis. Security Federal Savings Bank has $209 million in assets and operates branches in Logansport, Kokomo, Delphi and Lafayette.
American Family agent recognized
Kokomo American Family Insurance agent Roxanne Kronk recently received American Star Excellence in Customer Experience Certification for demonstrating a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Kronk has been an American Family agent since August 2009. Her office is located at 423 S. Berkley Road.
A customer satisfaction survey measuring customer’s overall experience helped gain Kronk the honor. Only agencies that perform in the 20 percent of all agencies nationwide, based on the survey, are eligible for the designation.
