Joey Allen Curtis

May 7, 1982 - Sept. 19, 2008

Joey Allen Curtis, 26, Cookeville, Tenn., died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in Wilson County, Tenn., from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 40 near Mt. Juliet. He was born in Midland, Texas on May 7, 1982, to Jeffrey Allen Curtis and Laura Alice Curtis Clark.

He was employed in a glass manufacturing factory.

He is survived by his father, Jeffrey Allen Curtis, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.; his mother, Laura Alice Curtis Clark, Indiana; two brothers, Benjamin Lee Curtis, Cookeville, Tenn. and twin brother, George Randall Curtis, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel, Gamaliel, Ky. Brother Gary Emberton officiated. Burial was in the Rocky Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Benjamin Curtis, Joe McConnell, George Curtis, Derrick Rice, Trip Turner, Wendell Johnson and Barry Cherry.
