Mr. and Mrs. Michael Summers (Abbee McCollum)

Michael James Summers and Abbee Ranae McCollum were married at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 2007, at Converse Church of Christ, Converse, by Pastor Robert Schwarze. A reception followed at Roseburg Event Center, Marion.

Michael is the son of Kevin and Colleen Summers, Greentown. He graduated from Eastern High School in 1998 and from Indiana University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. In 2003 he received his master’s degree in accountancy. He is a certified public accountant with BKD, LLP, Indianapolis.

Abbee is the daughter of Hal and Jennifer Smith, Greentown, and Richard and Linda McCollum, Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1997 and from the University of Evansville in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and an associate’s degree in physical therapy. She is employed at Replay Howard Regional Health Systems as a physical therapist assistant.

The maid of honor was Aimee Romero; bridesmaids were Marsha Downing, Laura Dodson, Stacia Renbarger, Amanda Huss and Alyssa Summers; flower girl was Keyton Romero; groomsmen were Nick Maple, Brad Downing, Syd Nicholson, Troy Renbarger, Jeff Tacheny and Joe Rife.

After a trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Noblesville.
