Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Maloney



Ronald and Linda Maloney celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to New York City, a Broadway play, a New England cruise and a special family dinner.

Ronald and the former Linda Pavey were married Nov. 8, 1969, in the Walton United Methodist Church by the bride’s father, the Rev. Leonard Pavey. He proposed to her while watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon on June 20, 1969.

He retired from skilled trades at the Chrysler transmission plant, Kokomo, and she retired as a nurse from the Chrysler casting plant, Kokomo.

They have two children, Jill and husband David Owen of Indianapolis, and Michael and wife Sarah of Springboro, Ohio. They also have two grandchildren, Paris and Nathan.
