---- — Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program would like to recognize young volunteers.

Until March 14, adults 21 and older may nominate children ages 6 to 18 who are making an impact through their volunteer work.

Two nominees from the more than 1,100 Kohl’s stores nationwide will win $50 Kohl’s gift cards. Nearly 200 store winners will receive regional higher education scholarships worth $1,000, and 10 national winners will each be awarded $10,000 in college scholarships. Kohl’s also will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization of each national winner’s choice.

Since Kohl’s philanthropic program began in 2001, it has recognized more than 19,500 children with more than $3.9 million in scholarships and prizes.
