Horse judges ranked No. 1

---- — GALVA, Ill. – A Kokomo native was part of the Black Hawk College East Campus Horse Judging Team that finished the season with a championship win at the American Quarter Horse World Show in Oklahoma City and a No. 1 national ranking.

Grace Guyer, Kokomo, was one of three BHC students who placed in the top 10 World Overall Individual rankings. She took second overall, second in reasons, third in performance and sixth in halter.

BHC Team A came home world champions with a first place finish in performance, first in reasons and second in halter. Team B followed with a first in halter, fourth in performance and fourth in reasons to claim fourth place overall. The competition took place in November, and the team was coached by Aaron Callahan.
