Elaine Bogan and Todd Ranson

Elaine Marie Bogan and Todd Christian Ranson have plans to wed at 3 p.m. Aug. 3, 2008, at Lake Wilderness Lodge, Seattle, by the Rev. Gary Ranson.

Elaine is the daughter of Rick and Teresa Bogan, Alexandria. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1999. Elaine graduated with honors and an elementary education degree from North Central University, Minnesota, in 2003. She worked as a history/government high school teacher in a private school in Seattle for two years and now works in the Washington, D.C., public school system while she completes her master’s degree in educational policy. She plans to graduate in May from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Todd is the son of Gary and Judy Ranson, Kent, Wash. He graduated from Kent Ridge High School, Renton, Wash., in 2001. He graduated from University of Washington in 2004 with a degree in business and marketing. He is currently the Internet marketing manager at World Vision in Seattle.
