Movie preview: “The Host”

Rated: PG-13 for some sensuality and violence

Plot: In a time of war, our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. The majority of the human race have been possessed by alien invaders, leaving only small pockets of “wild” humans scattered throughout the world. Upon being captured by the invaders, a young woman refuses to surrender her mind to her alien host. As the sympathetic host becomes deeply affected by her vivid dreams and memories, the pair become unwitting allies, and set off on a dangerous and uncertain search for the man they both grow to love. Adapted from “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling book.
