Lent a good time to deal with life issues

Am I the only one with some issues in life or do you have some issues in life, too?

The Urban Dictionary defines “issues” as a “Fancy and elegant way to say ‘problems.’"

We all have issues in life. Some of our issues are large. Some of our issues are small. But they are still issues... problems... challenges. The way we look at the issues in our life is much more important than the issue itself.

The Bible teaches on a certain woman having an “issuance of blood” (St. Matthew 9:20-22; St. Mark 5:25-34; St. Luke 8:43-47). She had a bodily issue for “12 years.” This problem caused her to have other social, personal and physical issues.

I believe God is not so moved by our needs but God is greatly moved by our faith. The woman was proactive trying to find a cure/relief for her issue but to no avail. Just because the answer to whatever situation in your life is puzzling you, don’t give up, your answer will come.

She heard that Jesus was in the midst and went to meet him. She had nothing left to lose, so she took a chance believing that Jesus could heal her. She said: “If I just touch His clothes, I’ll be healed.” (Mark 5:28)

John Newton’s third law of relativity is: “To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.

As she needed a healing once she touched Jesus garment he replied: “Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.” (St. Luke 8:46)

When you are looking for a breakthrough, always be on watch and in prayer, especially when it appears as if things are taking too long.

God honors your faith in God through Jesus. Jesus is approachable for every circumstance in your life. Jesus has compassion on those that come to him in faith. God sometimes allows circumstances to enter our lives that greatly “encourage us” to reach out for God’s assistance.
