Kokomo’s Lindsey Ogle made it through the first merge on “Survivor: Cagayan,” but a blindside at Wednesday’s tribal council leaves her on the chopping block next.
At the beginning of Wednesday’s episode, Jeff Probst told tribe members to throw in their buffs, which means only one thing — a merge.
Every contestant randomly chose a new buff. Purple buffs went to one team, and orange buffs went to another.
Ogle landed on a tribe with four other brawn members and two members of the beauty tribe.
They quickly won the reward challenge and ended up with a feast of doughnuts and cookies. But then they lost an immunity challenge that seemed tailored for the brawns.
They had to use a large log to bust down some walls and then work through a maze. The other tribe — made up of all three remaining brains, three beauties and one brawn — found a better way to knock down the walls and won by a hair.
Ogle and the four other brawns on her new tribe would face tribal council for the first time.
Before tribal, though, the two beauty outcasts searched for ways to blend into the new tribe. The horse trainer, L.J. McKansas, and Miss Teen USA Kentucky, Jefra Bland, immediately started looking for cracks in the brawn posse. It didn’t take long for them to find the chasm.
Actually, they didn’t even really have to look for it. Pilates instructor Trish Hegarty told McKansas how much she hates Ogle and how shady she thinks former NBA All-Star Cliff Robinson is. She managed to do this while flirting hopelessly with him.
Meanwhile, Ogle made fun of Hegarty some more. That’s become a weekly “Survivor” staple.
“Trish totally exaggerates her laugh around guys,” Ogle tells the cameras. “It’s disgusting.”
