Are you searching for that special gift to give to someone special this Christmas?
The gift I am suggesting some already have, and some might not at this point be interested in it. Still some just might receive it if it is offered to them.
Would you consider giving someone who does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ the chance to have one? What an opportunity it would be to invite someone who does not know the Christ of Christmas to come to know him as their Personal Lord and Savior!
Sometimes we have to show the love of God through Jesus Christ more than we speak about Jesus. It has been stated that “A sermon lived is often better than a sermon preached.” Do you want to give someone the gift of Jesus? Then you might have to put in some “sweat equity.” “He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.” (St. Luke 3:11)
Jesus charges us to "go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (St. Matthew 28:19-20)
As you are putting in your “sweat equity” do not forget about verbally sharing with others just who Jesus is in your life. God calls us to be instruments of his love to people who need to experience true love. Engaging in Evangelism for a Christian is, I believe, “Priority Number One!”
Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior was not just for you to be able to proclaim “I’m on my way to heaven!”
